NOTTING HILL

Drawing inspiration from patterns in nature, Studio Smiths designed a scheme for this Notting Hill residence that aimed to create a sense of luxury and comfort by incorporating sculptural details such as reeding, marbling and organic forms.

An inviting yet peaceful atmosphere was created through the use of a cool colour palette using shades of stone blue, indigo, sage, eucalyptus, moleskin, French grey and smoke.  

Faux leather, calacatta marble, stained oak flooring, brushed antique brass and velvet finishes have all been carefully considered for their durability. Through a delicate marriage of light and line, this composition seeks to exude a comfortable but dynamic sense of modernity.
